SLAC websites are transitioning to an improved platform

Explore a selection of recently relaunched websites on the new platform

By IT Communications

Have you noticed that some SLAC websites have now been redesigned to align with the recently updated SLAC public website? This is all part of the move to a new cloud-based platform that simplifies the process of creating websites. The new platform, along with a newly developed website template, provides site owners and editors improved design and flexibility to effectively convey their message while staying consistent with SLAC's visual identity.

SLAC has a strong community of site managers and editors who have already begun utilizing the new platform and template to craft engaging sites. In support of this transition, SLAC IT has developed a training guide, established training sessions, weekly office hours, a dedicated Slack channel, and consultation hours for site owners throughout the lab.

Feel free to explore a selection of the recently relaunched websites on the new platform:

Keep in mind this is just a preview of what's to come. The journey continues as we unveil new sites every Friday, with our sights set on completing the transition of all of SLAC’s websites to the new platform by October 31st.
